Ahlan Banking Service (ABS)
It’s as easy as 800 DIB (800 342). This hotline is specifically reserved for our corporate customers and is manned by our friendly and trained staff members. The facility provides you with a single window into the bank for all your transactional banking requirements. Our customers will have access by fax or by phone to exclusive ABS Unit on 8th floor, Al Shoala Building, Block A near DIB main branch. Dedicated personnel are available go handle a range of your banking enquiries relating to account balances, statements, liability position, status of clearing cheques and other transactions.
ABS Cheque Management
The customer will be provided with cheque handling services (except cash cheques) for their clearing, transfer and collection requirements. Furthermore, customers will be timely updated with the information / reason in case of any returned cheque. Moreover, for your convenience, ABS will arrange to deliver the returned cheque back to your office through courier. An additional service with regard to your post dated cheques is also available to cater your finances timely and effectively.
ABS Foreign Exchange and Money Market Information
The bank will automatically provide ABS customers with a clear and concise financial market update, in the form of a Treasury Newsletter which covers the financial events of the week, money market rates, movements in major currencies and commodities.
ABS Express Transactions
In case you miss our daily courier or urgently need to send a transaction request (e.g., internal transfer or outward remittances etc.) you may initiate your request via fax. This facility would be available to you as soon as you sign DIB’s standard fax indemnity. (The original instructions / hard copy to be delivered later). Furthermore, for ABS customers the bank commits to a same day turn around on fax instructions received by 12.30 pm, a convenient and normal cut-off time.
ABS Courier
The bank will provide you with convenience and security at your premises a daily courier pick-up and delivery service, for your routine banking transactions. The service is available for clearing / post dated / transfer cheques, trade finance documents, remittance instructions, local murabaha, statements and cheque book requests etc. We offer you the choice of a courier service between 8.00 am to 12.00 noon.
