Emiratization Objectives
- Counseling, development, awareness and retention of UAE Nationals within and outside the organization which will help in driving UAE nationals to the highest performance.
- To recruit, develop, reward and retain excellent UAE staff from various development programs.
- Proactively interact with external institutes and government bodies to attract nationals to the bank.
- Identify training and development needs of the national employees by proactively interacting with all national employees and their respective managers and ensure that training needs are fulfilled.
- Establish an effective mentoring system to guide the national employees in their career and to educate them in the various opportunities for learning and self-development
- Understand, identify and address issues faced by the national employees through proper surveys in a timely and appropriate manner.
Emaratis in DIB
At DIB, Emiratization is part of our corporate social responsibility program and has always been a serious commitment since the very inception of the Bank. DIB believes in pro-actively contributing towards the social and economic development of UAE society and Nationals in particular.
DIB follows a multi-pronged approach towards Emiratization. At DIB, Emiratization finds articulation amongst the strategic initiatives at the corporate level. The commitment to propel nationalization across the banking industry has found expression through numerous initiatives that contribute towards the development of UAE Nationals and support of the various ventures undertaken by them. These initiatives are based on our belief that only a qualified, skilled, competent and a competitive national human resource would be able to traverse and lead the industry as we seek our greater international presence and inch closer to the concept of a global economy.
DIB has strongly contributed towards the economy interest of the UAE by investing in and financing key projects and businesses that have created greater opportunities for UAE Nationals.
